See sources for Danish records explaining the family relationships. ***Research into the death record, marriage record, and censuses for Maria Jensdatter shows that she is not the Maria born 1800 as daughter of Jens Olsen (the triplet). In these records she shows consistently as born ca. 1798. There is one other Maria born in the same location in 1798 who is the daughter of Jens Hansen and Sophia Kioben, which would make her the proper Maria who married Peder Hansen and was the progenitor of Jens (James O.) Pedersen of Logan, Utah. ****Note that the biological father of Jens (aka James) was Peder Jorgensen who was not married to Maria Jensdatter. James was an illegitimate son of this liason. Maria later married Peder Hansen who raised James as his own son.
